Ron's paintings are included in the permanent art collection of The Supreme Court of Ohio.
One of Ron's recent art commissions involved creating six 4' x 8' oil paintings for The Supreme Court of Ohio. The art installation is entitled "The History of the Rule of Law ".
The paintings were commissioned by the Ohio State Bar Association, and are a part of the permanent art collection of the Supreme Court of Ohio located in the Ohio Judicial Center.
Ron's artwork is on display on the 11th floor outside of the Law Library in the Law Library Gallery.

"Cargo: The Middle Passage"
The King Arts Complex "Cargo: The Middle Passage"
Three of Ron Anderson's oil paintings were added to the permanent art collection of The King Arts Complex, in an interactive installation entitled "Cargo: The Middle Passage".
The King Arts Complex has "unveiled" a new permanent interactive installation about the transfer of slaves from Africa to the Americas entitled "Cargo: The Middle Passage". When visitors view this installation they will be able to experience what life might have been like inside of a slave ship.
The exhibit is centered around and features three of Ron's paintings. Ron painted three panels included in a triptych entitled "Cargo" that measure 93"x48" (wxh) per panel. The paintings depict the interior of a slave ship and are oil paintings on canvas.
Ron's paintings are now included in the permanent art collection of The King Arts Complex. The Opening day reception was on September 22, 2005.
The King Arts Complex "Cargo: The Middle Passage" art installation earned the Greater Columbus Arts Council's Business Arts Partnership $ 10,000 "Artistic Excellence" award. The award is noted in the Columbus Cultural Leadership Consortium publication dated 9/21/06 on page 8.

The King Arts Complex was the recipient of the Greater Columbus Arts Council, "Artistic Excellence" Award for the "Cargo" art exhibit in 2006, and received an award of $10,000.00.
Panel three of "Cargo" was included in a hard cover Scholastic book for elementary students entitled "The African American Story", by author Joy Masoff.
Robin worked with the author and the publisher Five Ponds Press of New York for this Licensing Agreement, and the book was available for sale as of January 2007.

The Absolut Spirits Company/ "Absolut Expressions", 3rd Annual Art Collection
Ron participated in the Absolut Spirits Company, "Absolut Expressions" celebration of 14 African-American Artists. The Art collection featured original artwork commissioned for the exhibit. The 2002 event was the 3rd art collection commissioned by the Absolut Spirits Company.
The featured artists and an image of their artwork was showcased in several issues of the Savoy magazine. The Art collection tour included VIP Receptions in the following cities:

"George Washington Williams Memorial Room"

Ron's paintings are included in the permanent art collection of the Ohio Statehouse
Ron was commissioned to create two oil paintings of George Washington Williams that are housed in the Ohio Statehouse. George Washington Williams was a writer, a historian and Ohio's first black legislator.
The Capitol Square Review and Advisory Board designated a room at the Ohio Statehouse that is referred to as The George Washington Williams Memorial Room. This project was championed by Rep. Ray Miller from Columbus, Ohio.
